Sooo... it's been a long weekend. Fun but long. Yesterday I had my free day when Grace goes out with her dad. I promised myself I would use the time wisely and do some reading for the new Uni course I am starting this week. However my friend's birthday party complete with bouncy castle changed my mind quite quickly so off we went to that. It was a really lovely day and I spoke to some friends I haven't spoken to in a while and just had a generally nice time.
I got in just before Grace was due back and did a wee bit of tidying and then there was a knock at the door. Her dad told me she had cut her face falling over and I had a look and the poor little thing had grazed all the side of her face and her eye.
More of my friends came round a bit later for a barbeque. After one of them getting his bum stuck in the seesaw (which I missed!) and then dropping his burger on the floor and talking about finding dead bodies and plane crashes they went home and I decided to call it a night and got into bed. I went on Facebook and I thought, for some reason, that I would add my ex back to my friends list. It has been over 3 weeks, I'm done being angry and a bit childish and if he didn't want to accept me that was fine.
Turned the laptop of, snuggled up, then my phone goes off. It was about 12.30 by now so wondered who was texting. Oh a number I didn't have saved? Oh.... my ex. He had text me to ask why I added him back. I just told him I did and he didn't have to accept if he didn't want to. Cue 2 and a half hour long conversation. Which started with him replying to that message to tell me he can't stop thinking about me. I told him I knew he had spoken to my sister. Then he went on to say he was feeling crap and lonely and was having a rubbish time of it but that he deserved it because he let me go. And at that point I did feel slightly smug because I am just really happy and feeling good right now. Which I guess is a bit mean. He asked had I met anyone and I told him about my adventure of the other night and he said he was jealous (too right he should be) and we just bantered a bit. He said he had today off and he wanted to come and see me. He won't but I told him he is welcome to see me if he wants. Then he told me he wants me and he still loves me. At which point I think I actually screamed aloud. Really don't want to go back to all that again, telling me all of that and then saying "but I can't be with you." I would rather he shut his gob and was just happy being friends with me.
I realised life is too short to stay angry at people. And I didn't want to be angry at him. And I'm in a really good place at the minute in terms of where my head is at so I would really like it if we could be friends. I've come to see that actually, I don't have to rely on one guy because there are actually other ones out there who for some reason find my attractive. Like I said though, he won't come and see me but hey, that's his loss not mine, I'm just going to carry on with my day like I was going to anyway (quietly) and try not to draw too much public attention to Grace who now has a black eye from her fall yesterday...

I am NEVER drinking again... EVER!
Oh. My. GOD. What on earth happened last night?! I'm still trying to piece it all together, there are so many blanks! But I'll try and recount what I can remember...
So it started ok. Got ready, got the train over to town, got to the club. Started drinking as the room filled up with people. I hadn't eaten since lunchtime so there was nothing in my stomach to soak up the alcohol. Downhill from there I think. I was waiting for my ex ex and his boyfriend to turn up so I could then decide whether or not it was a good idea to get drunk. I decided it was and I would just keep out of their way. There were a couple of nice guys there so I did a bit of window shopping. Naturally. The friends I cam with left at half 10 and I didn't know anyone else there really. So in my drunken state I decided to talk to some of the guys that were dotted around. At about midnight we moved on to another club but me and a couple of the boys got lost trying to find it. I got a text of my ex asking if I was ok since I had gone missing. Weird.
Anyway so we finally got there and I found I had lost £20 somehow. Was NOT impressed. Then my friend's brother was lovely enough to buy me a drink but then somebody nudged past me and I dropped it on the floor and it smashed everywhere, so I just walked away casually. So then we all hit the dancefloor. By this point I was pretty much gone. I was dancing with a bunch of the guys and one of them who I'd been talking to started getting a wee bit friendly. Me being drunk did nothing to deter him. Why would I? After quite a lot of snogging we were booted out at closing time and went to McDonalds where I 'think' I bought some chips. Then all I remember is leaving my friends and getting a piggy back all the way through the town centre of this guy, occasionally screaming when he threw me forward. We got in a taxi and went towards mine. I was falling asleep a bit and he was holding my hand and kissing my head and I was like... what the hell is going on? And then, and this is completely unlike me, I invited him in. Downside to that though, my mum was spying on me so I got into a wee bit of trouble today. Anyway, I don't think I really need to go into detail about the next couple of hours. I finally fell asleep and woke up not long after and my word, I have never heard anyone snore so loud in my entire life! Trust me to pick one who snores like that. This morning he woke up and cuddled up to me and then he got up and dressed and left. Very very random night. But a very good night nontheless.
Adding to the oddness today I got back from getting Grace from my mums and I got a knock at the door. It was some guy in his late 20's brandishing a laminated card with some gardening firms name on. He asked did I live here. I said I did but it was my parent's house and they were out (this is my tactic for getting rid of sales people) He then asked did we need our garden doing. I said no. And then asked did we need the back garden doing. Again I said no. Then out of nowhere he said 'do you have a boyfriend?' I was a bit taken aback so I said yes to avoid any further questioning. Then he said 'Oh well, if you didn't ask you'd never know.' and then as he was walking up my drive he turned and asked me could he tempt me with a drink. Again I said no and then closed the door and locked it behind me. A second later I got a phonecall from my mum's. She lives just over the road and apparently this guy had appeared out of nowhere and only come to my house. He didn't go to any other houses before or after mine. Which is even stranger. And why the door will continue to remain locked!
On a lighter note me and Grace took my youngest sister to the park with a picnic as the sun was shining for once. Only typically because of my dodgy fake tan that I put on for last night I was not able to wear a short sleeved top. And the huge lovebite on my neck cannot even be covered by my hair and a scarf was not appropriate attire for the weather. Only me...

Footloose and fancy free :)
Wow has it been a whole week already? My life really is getting dull! Again not much has really happened to be honest.
Starting from most recently, I just came back from getting my hair done. I made the fatal mistake of dying it red nearly two years ago and it's still there. So I settled myself down for my 3 hours of transformation. The hairdressers was busy, full of kids and old people. And in comes some super cute, tiny little old lady who seemed a wee bit confused as to where she was. She sat down in the chair next to me and this was the thing that has convinced me I want shooting before I ever get old. She asked if she could have her chin shaved. Isn't age a cruel cruel thing? Men coming in wanting their nose hair trimmed, women wanting their faces trimmed. Makes me glad I'm still only a youthful 20. Although in a cruel twist of events I may randomly grow a beard tomorrow, you never know.
I got in feeling about 5 stone lighter after having half of my hair cut out, I go to check my Facebook and have a message from my sister. My ex had messaged her and said he didn't want me to know he had spoken to her but he still cares and how was I? She didn't know whether to reply so I said she could and tell him I'm fine. Which I very much am. I KNEW he would crack before me. As if my sister wouldn't tell me that he had messaged her. Silly boy.
Finally gave in and went to the pub quiz on Monday and had a huge laugh. We didn't win of course, too busy drinking. Well I was anyway. Then my gay bitch of a friend made me walk halfway home by myself because he's lazy. Love him really. He's lucky I got back in one piece.
Sunday was Easter Sunday. Was a little bit awkward as my uncle was there. The one who cheated on my auntie. Although now they are apparently playing happy families. But who cares, there was chocolate involved and that was good enough for me.
Fast forward and I am MAJORLY looking forward to this Friday. It's my friend's 21st birthday in town and an opportunity to get stinking drunk and have a good old 'let your hair down' boogie. I am counting on my friends to keep me away from my ex ex (Grace's dad) and especially his idiot boyfriend. I'm not a nasty drunk however it could all change. I'm sure I will be straight on here on Saturday morning telling all about events that occured. Thankfully my friend uninvited my 'current' ex so he won't turn up and ruin my night.
Anyway, I am desperately hungry so I'm off to make a ham sandwich and watch some dysfunctional behaviour on Jeremy Kyle. TTFN <3
